Biography
I grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in a town called Chestertown. My parents moved there from Scotland before I was born. I have 3 siblings, all younger. After going to an all male high school (which I despised for non-obvious reasons), I went to college where I learned to party, have a good time, and met life long friends. Once I graduated, I moved out and lived in various places, PA, CA, MD, CO, until I re-met my wife. We had gone to college together, and at one point or another, we each had a crush on the other. We got reaquainted at a friends wedding and we fell madly in love. I moved to NJ to live with her and I have never looked back. We still live in NJ, I have a job in PA, and our dauaghter is growing quickly.
Interests
To make it easier for anyone interested in what I cover in my blog: Im independent leaning to the left in the political realm, I'm a huge supporter of free thought and imagnination, believing that its important to think outside the box all the time, the American media makes me sick, backpacking and hiking is my passion, so environmentalism is important to me, I hate the thought of being a mindless American consumer robot, I love to play video games when I have spare time, mostly on my home made PC and mostly Role Playing Games and have dabbled in some MMORPG's, I have learned much in the way of home improvement since I bought my first house about 4 years ago, and enjoy ecclectic movies that aren't mainstream.
